Leslie’s a passionate and dedicated practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Wholistic Healthcare.  She is a graduate of The Wellspring School for Healing Arts. She is a Certified Amma Bodywork Therapist and Licensed Massage Practitioner.  Amma Bodywork Therapy is an extremely specialized form of skilled bodywork that integrates deep tissue manipulation, pressure application, friction, and touch to specific acupoints, energy channels, muscles, ligaments, and joints. Candice Czubernat is a Masters level, individual and couples counselor. She has received her degree from Mars Hill Graduate School here in Seattle, WA. She believes the relationship built between the client and therapist is one of the key factors in affective therapy. Her desire is for each and every person be more fully alive and themselves; emotionally, physically and spiritually. Her work includes walking with people through depression, anxiety, relationship difficulities, past trauma, and spiritual concerns. While she does not hold to one specific therapeutic model some that will influence her work are psychodynamic, object relations and relational therapy. Her fee is $85 for a 50 minute session. If you wish to use your insurance please contact your insurance provider to see what they might cover and at the end of every month, she will give you a receipt in which to send. Please feel free to call with any questions, or to set up an appointment.

Rosemarie has taught and practiced Massage Therapy since 1995.  Her specialties are Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, and the Feldenkrais Method.  She has extensive experience treating patients for chronic pain, acute injuries, musculoskeletal pathologies and recovery from accidents, surgeries and illnesses.  Her style of treatment is focused, detailed and tailored to meet your objectives in a caring and supportive environment.

Dr. Hagen is a naturopathic physician (ND) trained at Bastyr University, the leader in science-based natural medicine.  NDs complete a rigorous four-year graduate/post-graduate level curriculum, with many of the same courses as medical doctors, but emphasizing an holistic approach.  Dr. Hagen is nationally board certi?ed, and is licensed in Washington as a primary care physician.  Optimizing wellness and disease prevention through lifestyle and nutrition are fundamental aspects of her practice.  Herbal medicines, homeopathic remedies, nutritional supplementation and lifestyle counseling are among the tools used to help you reach your goals.  At Recovering Health, she works with you to meet your health needs and achieve optimum wellness.

Rachel Kalvert is a psychotherapist who is trained in both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies. Her work includes helping people who are experiencing life changes, anxiety, depression, grief or general feelings that are causing emotional unease.  Rachel provides both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on the needs of the individual. She holds a Masters in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelors of Arts from Smith College.  She furthered her psychodynamic therapy training at New York University's Psychoanalytic Institute and also completed an Infant Observation Program at the Center for Object Relations in Seattle. In addition to her private practice, Rachel facilitates Listening Mothers groups which explore the emotional changes associated with motherhood. Rachel also leads specialized Listening Mothers groups for mothers of premature babies who have had a length of stay in the hospital. Maya Vajra (pronounced VAH-zhrah) has studied and pracited energy work since 1989 and is a Master of Acupuncture gradute of the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2002. As well as being WA state licensed and NCCAOM board certified, she is a certified specialist in acupuncture detoxification by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. In addition to praciting general Chinese medicine, her areas of special focus are the treatment of pain, digestive issues/disorders and personal transition as well as women's health and stress/nervous system challenges. Maya's philophy is one of good communication between patient and practitioner. She believes her role is to facilitate her patients to their optimal well-being and believes in patient empowerment.
